Meet Dr. DeVault
Dr. Bill DeVault is a board-certified, highly-experienced orthopaedic surgeon.
Dr. DeVault completed medical school at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at
Wake Forest University in North Carolina. He completed an Orthopaedic Surgery
residency at the University of South Carolina, Richland, in Columbia, South Carolina.
Following his residency, he went on to specialize in Sports Medicine and Joint
Reconstruction by completing a fellowship at the Jewett Clinic in Orlando Florida.
Dr. DeVault's interest in sports medicine has led to his involvement with NCAA
Division I, I-AA and II athletes as well as the Orlando Magic, Orlando Predators
arena football team. Most recently Dr. DeVault was the head physician for the
former Greenville Grrrowl hockey team. In addition, Dr. DeVault currently serves
as medical director of the
St. Francis Sports Medicine program in Greenville, South Carolina. Dr. DeVault also is a local expert in advanced joint replacement surgeries. He
was one of the first in the region to perform computer-assisted joint replacement
surgery, and has experience with gender-specific knee replacement and minimally-invasive
techniques.
Helping others, whether in the Upstate or across the world, is a passion for Dr. DeVault. He often dedicates his time to the less fortunate and has participated in medical mission trips to South America, South Africa and beyond. Watch Dr. DeVault in Action!
